"The attached photo is of Grandma Grace in her "Bundles for Britain" mode.  This was a civilian effort to gather clothes to send to WWII battle areas for the populations there who had little or none. As an eight year old,  I didn't think much of that program, because rather than water in her indoor swimming pool she used that space as a place to store the clothes until there was enough to ship. Didn't get to swim, but that was her kind of thing.  I'd love to have that Pontiac "woodie" (that's real wood) today." ~ Bill
